Understanding Autism – Conference in North Carolina

I’ve just added another conference to my list of 2014 autism conferences – Understanding Autism…and Strategies That Help!

Conference Date: Saturday, January 18, 2014
Conference Location: 652 US Hwy 13 N Windsor, NC
Conference Venue: Bertie Middle Shool
Conference Speaker: Leica Anzaldo, Training Manager for the Autism Society of North Carolina


Please register by January 15 by calling the number below or emailing the address below. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 sharp so be sure to register by the cutoff to ensure enough food
Conference is 9:00-12:00 noon

Examples of a few objectives:

  • Learn about the unique characteristics of Autism and explore strategies that prevent challenging behaviors from occurring
  • Gain basic understanding of the sensory system and how it affects behavior
  • Gain perspective on our response to behavior and its role in learning
  • Understand importance of visual supports
