Autism insurance reform is a hot topic for many families of children with autism. I know that for years autism services weren’t covered by our group health insurance because they were habilitation and only rehabilitation was covered. As we all know, autism therapies aren’t exactly easy on the pocketbook – even the most mainstream and most document therapies like speech and occupational therapy.
