Both of my children started back to school two weeks ago. While both of them have problems with transitions in general, the back to school transition seems to be the most stressful time of the year, especially for my son. One tool that I have found useful in helping to ease back to school transitions is the use of picture schedules. My latest article on Suite 101 is about how picture schedules ease back to school transitions.
