As the school year draws to a close, I am dreading the transition. I know that all children have a few off days when the summer break starts but in our household, it can take up to a month to get in a new groove. By that time, we’ve got to start preparing for the back-to-school transition. Scheduling summer time activities is a great way for children to have some structured time and hopefully, have an easier transition.
When parents plan ahead and schedule summer activities for their child, the transition out of school and into the less structured summer time can be easier for all involved.
