The majority of the camps that I post about here on The Autism Education site are either for children with a developmental disabilities or are for children and their family members. The Windmill Project 2009 Parent Retreat is a bit different – there are no children allowed at this retreat except for nursing infants.
The 2009 retreat will be held on April 3 and 4 at the Lake Geneva Camp and Retreat Center in Alexandria, Minnesota. The retreat will feature social events as well as a day of breakout sessions on a variety of topics including Supplemental & Special Needs Trusts, IEP Advocacy and Guardianship Issues.
