A New Autism and Special Education Law Coloring Book

A press release came in to my email account describing a new coloring book about autism and special education law. The Autism & Special Education Law Coloring Book is designed to be used in an interactive manner by students, parents, therapists, teachers, etc and was written by an attorney with experience in special education and disability law, Paul H. Kamoroff.

“My book directly and concisely provides a how-to guide to help people navigate through what is becoming an increasingly large and complex area of law, Special Education Law,” Kamoroff writes. “Each school must comply with a bevy of state and federal laws, such as the IDEA [Individuals with Disabilities Education Act], to provide for autistic and special needs students; parents, teachers and advocates of these children need to be informed of these laws which protect and provide services, assessments and appropriate educational placements for these special children.” (Source: PR Newswire)

I haven’t had the opportunity to read the book yet but any book that makes special education law easier to understand for parents gets a thumbs-up in my book.
